The objective
Develop an event series to bring together influential figures in the golfing industry

What we did
A modern-day golf business event needs to be more than just a great 18 holes with dinner and drinks, it has to engage them on a professional level too. Now in its fourth year, the Golf Traveller Invitational is two days of workshops, keynote speakers and networking, tied together with golf-based activity at a world-class venue.

What happened
Golf Traveller Invitational has now consistently brought together C-suite influencers from all aspects of the golf world: from travel and the professional game to fashion, equipment, marketing and media at the 2018 Ryder Cup venue Le Golf National near Paris and the iconic Turnberry. The next event is set to take place in Scandinavia. Robert Grange of the Financial Times, said: “Golf Traveller Invitational is an experience that I would recommend to any serious golfer, anyone involved within the sport and golf industry – I think it’s something that the FT is very pleased to be associated with.”

Mike Pask, senior advisor and former Senior VP IMG, concurred: “We had some great speakers including [photographer] Dave Cannon, the general manager of Turnberry, all set within one of the most spectacular settings in the world. I had an amazing 48 hours and have come away having met lots of new people and caught up with old friends too.”
