Rugby Lives podcast shortlisted for two awards at Publisher Podcast Awards 2025
Rugby Lives, the new podcast from the team behind the award-winning Rugby Journal, has been shortlisted for Best Sports Podcast and Best Podcast Launch at the Publisher Podcast Awards 2025.
Celebrating the best podcast work from publishing companies, Rugby Journal has been named on two shortlists alongside publishers such as The Times and Sunday Times, The Telegraph and Reach.
Rugby Lives, launched in January 2025, welcomes guests from beyond the sport to talk about their passion for the oval ball game, debuting with two Michelin-starred chef and lifelong Gloucester fan Tom Kerridge reminiscing on his playing days and the values that rugby has taught him along the way.
Further guests have included Danny Roche, better known as Ben from BBC’s Outnumbered, Tonia Antoniazzi, the Labour MP for Gower and Martin Bayfield, the British & Irish Lion turned film star as Hagrid’s body double in the Harry Potter series. The winning podcasts will be decided by a line-up of nearly 50 judges from around the world with the winners to be revealed on 11th June, 2025.
