Sporting Eric delivers 50 Best Golf Experiences

Covering everything from the Arctic Circle and Argentina to Vietnam and Japan, the first 50 Best Golf Experiences has been produced for Golf Traveller by Sporting Eric

The new always-on campaign has just completed its first year, with the 50 experiences being released before the start of the 2023 golf season and all of them now live on golftraveller.com

Sporting Eric told the story of not just the incredible golf featured on every entry, but also the wider travel and cultural experience that made each experience unique. “50 Best Golf Experiences epitomises what Golf Traveller does as a brand,” says Euan Gillon, CEO of Sport Travel Group, who own the Golf Traveller brand. “It reflects the way in which we hand-pick destinations to suit the needs of our audience, but ensuring exacting standards are always met in terms of golf, accommodation, service and experience. This campaign has now become the foundation of our marketing as it’s helped us reach the right audience with exactly the right messaging.”

As well as having its own section on the brand hub, golftraveller.com/50-best, the content created has been fuelling weekly emails, and all channels of the Golf Traveller eco-system including all social channels, events and exhibitions. “The 50 Best Golf Experiences reflects exactly what Sporting Eric is all about, creating content-driven campaigns centred around great stories,” says Alex Mead, managing director, Sporting Eric. “We’ve been able to tell the story of 50 epic destinations for the discerning golf traveller and it’s not just fuelling the marketing channels this year, but it can continue to do so for years to come as we expand and develop the 50 Best Golf Experiences concept.”

An ever-evolving list, Sporting Eric and Golf Traveller are already looking at experiences worthy of addition into the top 50 listing.
