Oxford University RFC
Commemorative book
What we did...
... tell the story of 150 years of iconic rugby history. Given just six months from start to finish, we brought together Lords, former Prime Ministers and legends of the game to tell their personal accounts of playing for one of the most famous rugby clubs in the world, Oxford University RFC, in a very limited-edition premium hardback book 150 Years of Oxford University RFC.
The book, which is now sold out, earned praise from all quarters with Lord Robin Butler, private secretary to five prime ministers, describing it as ‘very handsomely produced…’, he added, ‘I congratulate you on it and thank you for it. For me it will be a treasured possession’.
Among those to tell their stories were former England icon Richard Sharp, Rugby World Cup winner David Kirk, former Springbok coach Nick Mallett, the niece of the late Prince Alexander Obolensky, and Tony Abbott, former Australian prime minister, who described the book as ‘a magnificent publication and what an honour to be in it’.
