Sporting Eric launches golfindubai.com

Engaging a B2C golf audience

golfindubai.com to showcase very best of golf and travel adventures in Dubai

As part of an always-on global campaign to tell the story of the golf experience in Dubai, Sporting Eric has launched golfindubai.com, a new home for golf and travel content

The new platform will be a home for big-name golf interviews, course reviews, event previews and features, covering all aspects of Dubai from gastronomy and architecture to music, entertainment and events.

Already, golfindubai.com is home to exclusives with Ryder Cup legend Ian Poulter, Matt Wallace and British & Irish Lions legend and keen golfer Mike Phillips. There’s also a section dedicated to the courses of Dubai, including the likes of the iconic Emirates GC, the Middle East’s first grass 18-hole course and host of the OMEGA Dubai Desert Classic; Jumeirah Golf Estates’ Earth and Fire Courses, where the season-ending DP World Tour Championship and Golf in Dubai Championship take place; and Dubai Hills, voted best new golf course in the world in 2019.

Food will also be high on the agenda, with the Telegraph’s Sarah Hedley Hymers revealing her insider tips  to the Dubai culinary scene.

“Dubai has one of the highest concentrations of world-class golf courses,” explains Alex Mead, Sporting Eric’s lead on this project. “And the majority of them have been designed by the renowned golf architects so the golfing pedigree is incredibly rich, giving golfindubai.com a huge amount of material.

“When you couple that with the incredible amount of travel experiences in Dubai, it gives travellers the chance to build their own unique golf adventures that meets their needs beyond the course. Food, family, sport and music are all going to be playing a big role in the stories we tell on golfindubai.com”

Updated weekly, as part of the launch on behalf of Golf in Dubai, an organisation that brings together a number of Dubai’s golf and tourism partners, the website is also hosting a competition to win a five-day VIP trip to the 2021 DP World Tour Championship.

In addition to the editorial content on golfindubai.com, a booking platform will also be added, allowing users to book their next holiday direct.
